Meet our Faculty

Instructors at Acclaim follow a set curriculum to ensure proper
technique is being taught in a manner that upholds Acclaim’s
high standards

Miss. Bridget, Owner/Instructor/Choreographer has a strong technical background
in all the major dance forms. Bridget has over 29 years of dance experience and has
been teaching and choreographing for over 19 years and a studio owner for over 10
years. Bridget continues to update her own dance education by attending
workshops and classes in all forms of dance with many well known dancers and
choreographers including Janice Barringer, Daryl Ritter, Becca Ritter, Arron Chen,
Joe Simpson,Misty Rasconsmith, Ryan Warren, to name a few, She travels
throughout the USA to attend these classes & workshop including Dallas, Texas,
Kalamazoo, Michigan, Indianapolis, Indiania and South Dakota. Bridget is a member
of the Cecchetti Council of America and attends Cecchetti Council workshops and
liaison meetings. The Cecchetti Council principal object is to raise the quality of
classical ballet teaching and provide continuing education opportunities to ballet
teachers. Bridget has worked with the Moscow Ballet Company as the local
children's dance coordinator in 2007, 2008 & 2010 for the Professional Ballet
Company’s performance of “The Great Russian Nutcracker” Bridget has been
dancing since age four. While in High School, Bridget was a student teacher and
taught classes of her own at the studio she attended in Albert Lea, MN and directed
a very successful dance program through the local Park & Rec. After graduating
from AHS and attending college Bridget worked full -time for a corporate office
before opening her studio in 2001. Bridget upholds Christian values and enjoys
sharing her love of dance with her students. Bridget’s unique teaching style, which
is both fun and educational, helps each child to develop their own talents. Her
knowledge and clarity is reassuring to students of all ages and her patience,
enthusiasm, encouragement, creativity and motivation she brings to the classroom
has earned Bridget an excellent reputation for working with children of all ages.
Bridget currently teaches 26 classes weekly and choreographs all
performance/recital, and competition dances. Bridget's competition teams have been
consistent winners at both Regional and Nationals dance competitions.

Miss. Ruthann has been dancing at Acclaim since she was 6 and is in advance Tap, Cecchetti
Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Lyrical classes and a member of our award winning "Elite Stars"
competition team. Ruthann has also performed twice with the professional Moscow Ballet
Company in "The Great Russian Nutcracker" as one of the Butterflies.

Miss Addie-has been dancing at Acclaim for 8 years and is in Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe, Jazz,
Lyrical and a member of our award winning "Elite Stars" competition team. Addie has also
performed with the professional Moscow Ballet Company in " The Great Russian Nutcracker" as
one of the party kids.

Miss. Emily has been dancing for 16 years (6 years at Acclaim) and is in advanced Jazz,
Lyrical, Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe classes, and is a member of our award winning "Elite Stars"
competition team. Emily has performed twice with the professional Moscow Ballet company
in "The Great Russian Nutcracker" as one of the Arabian Dancers.

Mr. Eli has been dancing at Acclaim for 8 years and is in Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and in the
past has taken Tap. Phillipp graduated from Austin High School and is currently attending
Riverland.
