Meet our Faculty

Miss. Bridget, Owner/Director, has a strong technical background in all
the major dance forms. Bridget has over 27 years of dance experience and
has been teaching and choreographing for over 17 years. Bridget continues
to update her own dance education by attending classes and workshops
throughout the U.S. the most recent workshops  were held in Dallas, Texas,
Michigan, Indianapolis, & South Dakota.  Bridget is a member of the
Cecchetti Council of America and attends Cecchetti Council workshops and
liaison meetings. The Cecchetti Council’s principal object is to raise the
quality of classical ballet teaching and provide continuing education
opportunities to ballet teachers. Bridget has worked with the Moscow Ballet
Company as the local children's dance coordinator in     2007 & 2008 for the
Professional Ballet Company’s performance of “The Great Russian
Nutcracker”.   Bridget has been dancing since age four and as a teenager,
completed a student teachers training program at the studio she attended
in Albert Lea, MN and went on to teach dance at that studio for 2 years and
directed a very successful dance program through the local Park & Rec.
After attending college Bridget worked  full -time for a corporate office
before opening her studio in 2001. Bridget enjoys sharing her love of dance
with her students and currently teaches 26 classes weekly and
choreographs all performance/recital, and competition dances. Bridget's
competition teams have been consistent winners at both Regional &
Nationals dance competitions.

Miss. Emilee  Former Acclaim dancer, has training in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and
Pointe. As a student at Acclaim Emilee worked as an assistant for the pre –
dance program. After graduating from AHS Emilee attended North Central
University, before returning to Austin, Emilee worked for R-5 Motivational
Communications for Youth in Nebraska. Emilee also works as a
Paraprofessional in the Austin Public School system and as an assistant
coach for Ellis Middle School Dance line. Emilee teaches our Pre-dance II and
Pre-dance Combination programs.


Miss. Ashley  has been dancing at Acclaim for 8 years and is in
advanced Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe, and Musical Theatre
classes and a member of our senior competition Lyrical & Jazz team. This is
Ashley 2nd year of teaching. Ashley teaches Hip Hop for ages 7-9, 3 Tap
classes, a ballet and a jazz class..

Miss. Emily  has been dancing for 13 years (5 years at Acclaim) and is in
advanced Jazz, Lyrical, Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe classes, and is a member of
our senior Lyrical & Jazz competition team. Emily teaches Jazz/ Ballet/tap
combination class.

Miss. Ruthann has been dancing at Acclaim since she was 6 and is in
advance Tap, Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Lyrical classes and a member
of our senior Lyrical & Jazz competition team. Ruthann teaches Tap and
assists with pre- dance II and Pre-dance combination class

Miss Kalyn, is in our advanced Cecchetti class, Jazz and Lyrical.

Miss Jessica is in our advanced Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Lyrical

Miss Laina is in advance Tap, Cecchetti Ballet, Jazz & Lyrical

Miss. Hannah,  is in Intermediate II Tap, Jazz & Ballet

Miss Addie is in advance Tap, Cecchetti Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, & Lyrical and  a
member of our senior Lyrical competition team.

Miss Abby is in Intermediate II Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, & Musical Theater
