| About Us Acclaim Studio of Dance opened in the fall of 2001, the first and only Christian dance studio in this area. We are committed to provide the community a dance studio that offers top quality dance training in an atmosphere of Christian morals and values and encourage qualities of respect,teamwork,and love and discourage criticism, or showing favoritism. Acclaim Studio of Dance is family oriented and wishes to enrich your child’s life with a positive experience in the performing arts in an environment that is safe and respectful to students in regards to music, movements, and costumes. We instruct with proper technique, and correct stretching. Our teaching methods are new and creative and the skills taught at Acclaim are continually updated. Every student receives the same high-level of teaching and attention regardless of their goals. Our students perform in 2 recitals a year and at various community events, and churches. We offer our students as many wonderful opportunities as possible, including: summer dance camps, dance workshops, Cecchetti Classical Ballet ( this includes examinations for those interested), and dance competitions for those who desire to compete In 2007 and again in 2008 o Bridget's students had the exciting opportunity to perform along side of the Moscow Ballet in their performance of 'The Great Russian Nutcracker'. We also host Dance Theme Birthday Parties!! Acclaim desires to clearly communicate with each family and keep in mind the financial demands of a family and offer quality dance education, and costumes at the best possible prices. Prospective students and their parents are welcome to view one of our classes and we are sure you will be pleased. We offer several styles of dance including: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theater Cecchetti Method Ballet Acclaim has about 3000 sq. feet., 2 classrooms. Studio A is just under 1000 sq. feet. Sprung dance floor, mirrors, & barres designed for our older students. Studio B has about 800 sq. feet. Wood floor, mirrors, barres and is decorated and designed for our younger students. Acclaim also has an office area, 2 waiting areas, restroom's, and dressing area. Our Mission To teach the art of dance in its purest form, to encourage Christian values, to respect children and not expose them to music with offensive, suggestive or questionable lyrics nor allow inappropriate body movements or costuming, to help each child experience the love of dance and reach their full potential in a caring environment and develop creativity and self esteem and enhance their life with the performing arts, to treat every child as the blessing from God that he or she is and promote using our God given talents in ways that glorify Him! “…whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Cor. 10:31 Did you know that the performing arts enhance a child’s life?
